About this product
Lakadong turmeric carries roughly three times the curcumin of a standard variety, which you can see in the colour before you taste it. The rhizomes are boiled, sun-dried for a week and then stone-ground, all within a single batch so the date on the pack is genuinely the processing date.

What we check before a product is listed
Four things we do not compromise on, because a handmade product is judged on all of them.
No preservatives in food
Chutneys and jams are made without vinegar or stabilisers. Bakery is dispatched within a week of baking.
Azo-free dyes in textiles
Reactive and natural dyes only, printed and dried in shade so the colour bonds to the fibre instead of sitting on it.
Cure times are respected
Six weeks for cold-process soap, a full day of sun for every papad. Shortening these is how a handmade product is made to look handmade.
Batch-tested where it matters
Honey, ghee and spices are tested for adulteration before packing, and the report is available on request.
